Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward following an attempted kidnapping incident in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
It was reported that at around 5.44pm on Wednesday, two men in a black Volkswagen approached two boys, aged 12 and 13, on Great Binfields Road in Lychpit and offered them money to get in the vehicle.
The boys ran to a nearby supermarket and the vehicle drove off.
Officers are asking anyone who saw a black Volkswagen in the area or witnessed the incident to get in touch.
Those living in the area with private CCTV or a Ring Doorbell were also asked to contact the force.
